Stirling Uni Men's Hockey Tour Salou 2009 - ABSOLUTLEY EPIC!
I just wanted to say thanks so much for all your help. We all had a fantastic time in Barcelona. The accommodation was clean and safe, the city was great and the hockey was spot on. We'd give Teamlink 10/10! We had a phenomenal time in Barcelona thanks to Teamlink - spectacular scenes on and off the pitch!!! The game had everything, and it was credit to Teamlink that you nailed our ability level from my description. The fact that we were playing in a stunning setting (Olympic pitch as the sun set) helped!
I just wanted to say thanks for organising the tour at short notice -all the boys had a cracking time. The hotel was fantastic, the Spanish Cup final was a real eye opener with both teams throwing the ball around and all the boys agreed that it was worth while putting the beer off for a few more hours to watch it. Could you send a big thanks to Scott for his efforts in Madrid and all who were involved from the opposition, they made us very welcome after the game but ran us ragged during it!
Teamlink delivered what they said they would. From an organisational perspective, coaches arrived as planned, fixtures were as planned, hotel and resort were as described. Communication throughout was superb, which is important when you sometimes don't remember where you're supposed to be or even what day it is! Also, the insurance provided, which unfortunately we had cause to use in a serious way, was absolutely first class.
The tournament was well organised and carried out in the sporting spirit. The post-tournament party was especially enjoyable! The hotel was located centrally within easy reach of the beach and the nightlife. Can't wait until next year.
