The England Counties have recently named their 26-man squad for their three match tour to Uganda and Kenya. Teamlink Sports Tours are proud to announce that one of their very own Titans, Joe Bonner, has made the final cut. Bonner, a front row specialist, plays for National League One outfit Blackheath and has been selected as a result of his hard work this season for both his club and county sides.
The 17 day tour includes fixtures in Kampala and Nairobi, as well as an extensive school outreach programme, providing the players with a once in a lifetime experience both on and off the field.
The England Counties squad is the flagship team for players outside of the Premiership. Founded in 2002 the side has travelled extensively taking in the sites of North and South America, Europe and the Far East.
We are the Titans
Whilst Joe may claim his England call-up is his highest honour to date, he has also represented the prestigious Teamlink Titans on several occasions. The Teamlink Titans, founded in 2007, are an invitation only team who tour year on year, taking part in tournaments all over the world. Bonner, a past tour captain, has represented the Titans an impressive six times and is cornerstone of the Titans team. Whilst Joe is setting off to Africa, the remaining Titans squad are preparing for their annual summer tour to the Stockholm 10's tournament where they hope to reign supreme on and off the field.
Everyone here at Teamlink and within the Teamlink Titans congratulate Joe on his great achievement and wish him success on Tour.
