Sample Sydney, Surfers Paradise, Brisbane Itinerary

'Surf's Up' offers you everything you need on your sports tour to Australia from great sights to incredible beaches. Sydney is quite rightly at the top of most travelers’ ‘to visit’ lists. Sydney boasts a stunning harbour, iconic landmarks such as the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, more than 50 beaches, including the world famous Bondi and breathtaking sunlit scenes at almost every turn. Surfers Paradise has something for everyone, from stunning beaches to shopping malls; you certainly don't have to be a surfer to enjoy this paradise. Brisbane is home to the famous Gabba Stadium and stunning waterways. Brisbane is also a massive sporting hub and will cater for even the biggest sports nuts. It is obvious why a sports tour to Australia is the perfect choice.

The Itinerary below takes in some of the best destinations and features that Australia has to offer.

DAY ONE
Your sports tour to Australia begins as you fly from Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur.

  DAY TWO
Arrive in Kuala Lumpur and jet off on the next plane to Sydney where you will arrive at approximately 9pm local time. Check in to your accommodation and sleep of the jet lag or if the Sydney night air has put a skip in your step get out and familiarise yourself with the local area.

DAY THREE
Refreshed from a great night's sleep in your Teamlink recommended accommodation your sports tour to Australia is ready to kick off as you head down to the world famous Bondi Beach. After some time passes, whilst you marvel at the local surfing talent, the thought of trying it for yourself will inevitably cross your mind...go with it! Even if you only manage to stand on the board for a millisecond that is long enough to snap a picture for the worlds coolest Facebook profile picture. Spend the evening getting familiar with the local inhabitants, and brews, in one of Sydney's effortlessly cool drinking establishments.

San Diego and Los Angeles Itinerary

DAY FOUR
Day four brings you your first match against local opposition. After the match you will have the chance to enjoy post match festivities with your hosts in true 'aussie' style.

DAY FIVE
It’s time to take in one of the most iconic sights in Australia: the Sydney Harbour Bridge or the ‘coathanger’ as it was nicknamed due to its arch based design. No trip to the bridge would be complete without the ‘’bridge climb,’’ this is only for the brave of heart.

  DAY SIX
Once again its game day, bringing with it another chance to show your opposition who’s the better nation. Following the match their will be a chance to mix with the local team over a BBQ at the post match festivities.

Blue Mountains Australian Shorts   DAY SEVEN
Instead of getting wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of the city today you have the chance to enjoy the tranquility of the Blue Mountains, a UNESCO world heritage site that offers some of the best highland scenery in the world. However the sights are not all the mountains have to offer; why not also enjoy guided bushwalks, 4x4 driving and golf to really make the most of the Australian highlands?

  DAY EIGHT
Check out of your accommodation and catch your transfer to the airport for your flight to Coolangatta. On arrival you will transfer the short distance to the magnificent Surfers Paradise, the word 'transfer' doesn't do this journey justice. You will glide down the East coast of Australia and enjoy some of the world's most picturesque sights available from the window of a coach.

  DAY NINE
Day nine will give you a third opportunity to play a local side and continue your winning streak through Australia. Once again your hosts will put on post match entertainment for you to enjoy over a can of Fosters.

DAY TEN
Today you are free to explore Surfers Paradise so why not head down to the beach for a spot of surfing, shopping and relaxing? Not your cup of tea? Then why not take a trip to the Gold Coast Hinterland where you can get a glimpse of Australia’s native wild life or enjoy a guided tour of the area and attractions including the Crocodile Hunter Reptile Park and Glasshouse Mountains?

DAY ELEVEN
It's time to move onto your final destination on your sports tour to Australia. Check out of your accommodation and transfer to Brisbane where you can get settled into your accommodation.

DAY TWELVE
You will face your final opponents in your fourth match. Make your final game a match to remember and return to the UK victorious.

DAY THIRTEEN
In the UK we are used to having slugs, snails and if you are lucky the odd hedgehog on our doorstep, the inhabitants of Brisbane have a slightly different animal right on their doorstep. A Kangaroo or Wallaby perhaps? Don't be so stereotypical! Brisbanites share their backyard with Humpback whales, not literally, that would be impractical, but just a short boat ride from the Brisbane coast is some of the world's best whale watching. This is a once in a lifetime experience and is a must for any tourist visiting the Brisbane area.

DAY FOURTEEN
It's time to head back to the UK without your surf board but with a lifetime worth of memories. You will head to Sydney International Airport where you will catch your flight back to the UK.

DAY FIFTEEN
Arrive into the UK. End of arrangements and your sports tour to Australia.
