Celebrating its 21st bithday, this three day festival has a legendary reputation thanks to an inclusive nature (teams of all ages and levels are catered for) and social atmosphere. Teams have the option of individual friendly matches, a XV-a-side tournmament and a 7's tournament (or all three) over the course of an Easter rugby weekend that also includes a number of social events.

This two-day, 7-a-side event is held in the ski resort of Saariselkä, 250km north of the Arctic Circle. Games are played on a snow pitch (long sleeves, tracksuit bottoms and gloves recommended) and teams should expect to play between 4 and 7 over the course of the event leaving plenty of time to party! Now in its 22nd year, this renowned international tournament combines good rugby with the equally appealing surroundings of the Algarve. A total of 8 sides compete in two pools of 4, followed by play-offs and a final. This makes for a small but perfectly formed competition with each team guaranteed a minimum of 4 games.

This is the 17th Edition of the tournament in remembrance of the deceased captain and co-founder of the Rugbyclub Laakdal, Walter 'Wakke' Goris. With 6 to 12 clubs, from at least 4 different countries competing in an excellent spirit for the Wakke Memorial Cup, this is the perfect was to enjoy the Bank Holiday Weekend. The tournament venue is 50 km south-east from Antwerp and 60 km north-east from Brussels. Your group can be accommodated in either city.

This unique event - now in its 14th year - attracts rugby teams from across Europe to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Held at the National Sport Academy, the tournament is held in a league and knock out format guaranteeing two days of fast, furious and fun competition for all participants. Away from the rugby visiting teams will have the opportunity to get to know Sofia and experience the local hospitality.

Vets rugby tournaments are all about socializing but a good game of rugby goes a long way too and the setup here simply provides for a great weekend of events and testing of one’s skills (especially when it comes to the drinking games promoted throughout the weekend!). All teams are to arrive by Thursday or Friday morning at the latest. On Friday afternoon it will be time for rugby with the Malta Vets Tournament taking place. In the evening the presentation night takes place with lots of drinking and partying till the early hours of the morning. On Saturday after a late brunch all teams will head off to watch a home European group 2B fixture between Malta and Poland. After the match all teams will get the chance of meeting the players and in the evening party on till dawn. Some die hards have also opted for an early morning all inclusive boat trip on Sunday morning which finishes off the weekend in style!

This will be the fourth year that Rugby Club Makarska has hosted an international sevens tournament, with past competitions atttacting teams from Great Britain, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia Hercegovina and Croatia. This socially orientated event has a good mix of rugby, sun, sea, and most importantly, a good dose of entertainment both on and off the field. The tournament is played over two days with pool play on the Friday (16/05) and finals on Saturday. A standard 16 team format applies with 4 pools of four teams playing in a round-robin. The top 2 teams from each group go through to play the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals for places 1-8 while the bottom 2 teams go on to play for places 9 – 16. Each team is guaranteed 6 games over the 2 days.

The Amsterdam Heineken International Rugby Sevens is now in its 37th year and going stronger than ever. This globally renowned competition has attracts teams from as far afield as Hong Kong and Australia alongside more traditional European opposition. The tournament begins on the Saturday with preliminaries followed by qualifiers on the Sunday morning and finals on the Sunday Afternoon played at the Dutch National Rugby Stadium. Inbetween competitors will have ample opportunity to sample the social side of Amsterdam.

The man made pitch is constructed just outside the city centre and held over one day. With a miminum squad of 10 players required, this event is perfect for sides with low touring numbers or any rugby-playing stag parties.
