Now in its seventh year, this one-day XV-a-side tournament is ideal for those teams who are looking for an event that places as much importance on the social side as it does on the competition!

Over the past years teams from England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France, Luxembourg, Holland and Germany have all participated at the event and enjoyed the social ambience that’s notorious at the home of the Cologne Crusaders Rugby Club. Now in its seventh year, this one-day xv a side tournament is a ideal for those teams who are looking for an event that places as much importance on the social sides as it does on the competition!

Tournament Format

Men: 15 a side

This is a one day tournament held on Saturday 7th May, the tournament is open to mens' teams and focuses heavily on the social element as much as the rugby.

Sample Itinerary

3 or 4 day packages are available for this event.

Sample 3-Day Itinerary:

Day 1 - Your executive coach will pick you up from your sporting club house and begin the journey to Germany. You will embark on the channel crossing from Dover / Folkestone to Calais (subject to using Eurotunnel or ferry crossing). You will then be transferred to your chosen tour accommodation. When at the accommodation you will check in and the night will be at your leisure.

Day 2 - You will be transferred from your accommodation to the Cologne Crusaders Cup venue via your executive coach transport. The tournament will begin at 09:00. Post match entertainment will be available on site including; BBQ, live music and after games party. You will then be transferred back to your chosen tour accommodation via your executive coach.

Day 3 - Your executive coach will transfer you from your chosen tour accommodation to Calais where you will embark on your return channel crossing back to the UK.

OPTIONAL EXTRA DAY 4-Day Itinerary:

Day 4 - Should you choose to stay an extra day in Cologne, Teamlink would be happy to arrange excursions or fixtures for your rugby team.
