Provins itself is a medieval town classified as a World Heritage Site, 80km east of Paris, 40 km from Disneyland Paris makes Provins the perfect touring destination with plenty of excursions to offer. Those attending this rugby tournament will do so in beautiful surroundings and watch their teams play in breathtaking back drops.

Tournament Format

This International club rugby tournament is hosted by Gouaix-Provins for U14s (born in 1997 and 1998) and U16s (born in 1995 and 1996) touring sides. The tournament will begin on the Saturday, a parade will take place at 10am followed by the tournament games from 2pm until 6pm. On the Sunday the tournaments will commence from 9am until 6pm following the IRB's rules, and it will be refereed by official referees. The two sports fields are on the same sports centre site and the number of teams in each class is limited to 10. On the Sunday night a meal will be provided along with post match entertainment (music animation).
Each team will have their very own changing room and all teams will be rewarded with a free tournament t-shirt.  
A 300 euro deposit (team deposit) will be required however this will be refunded at the start of the tournament, this price will be built into your tour package.

Sample four day itinerary

Day 1 - Your executive coach will pick you up from your sporting club house and begin the journey to France. You will embark on the channel crossing from Dover / Folkestone to Calais (subject to using Eurotunnel or ferry crossing). You will then be transferred to your chosen tour accommodation. When at the accommodation you will check in and the night will be at your leisure.

Day 2 - This will be a free day, Teamlink would be happy to arrange excursions or fixtures for your rugby team. Your executive coach will be available throughout the day.

Day 3 - You will be transferred to the Provins Rugby Tournament venue via your executive coach transport. The tournament will begin at 10:00 and continue through until 16:30. After the tournament post match hospitality will be provided by the Rugby Club followed by the prize giving ceremony. Following the post match entertainment you will be transferred back to your chosen tour accommodation and the night is at your leisure.

Day 4 - Board your executive coach transfer from your chosen tour accommodation to Calais, where you will embark on your return channel crossing back to the UK and your rugby club house.
