Sports tours to the USA are increasingly popular thanks to the more 'bang for your buck' factor over other long haul resorts. Add the warm hospitality and sightseeing options to this factor and you're hard pressed to find a more exciting region on the touring map. Despite being put in the ‘developing’ bracket, many traditional European sports still enjoy strong regional and national followings due to the sheer size and diversity of the country.

Rugby is now considered a nationwide sport with the standard increasing season after season, and amateur cricket leagues have grown thanks to the enthusiasm of the expatriate community. ‘Field’ hockey is also popular, especially in colleges and universities, whilst netball is expanding its base around the east coast.
