"The Gap" is one of the best known locations in Barbados, largely thanks to a 1.5km stretch of bars, hotels, dance clubs, restaurants and shops that line a beachfront of pristine white sand.  If you're looking to reside in an area that offers a bustling social scene with tranquil surroundings then this is an ideal location to base yourselves during your Caribbean holiday.  Whilst the area is lively at night, school and youth groups can stay in 'The Gap' at one of the many hotels located in St. Lawrence that distance their properties from the main section of bars, clubs and restaurants.  Popular accommodations for schools include The Dover Beach Hotel and Rostrevor Hotel and Apartments.
