		Burj Khalifa A literally unmissable landmark, Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest man-made structure. At 818 metres it is 300 metres taller than the previous record holder, Taipai 101 in China, and twice as tall as the Empire State Building. This famous landmark is definately worth a visit in between your sporting fixtures in Dubai.
		Dubai Creek Cruise Running 14km from the Persian Gulf to the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, the creek runs through the centre of Dubai and was originally used by trading vessels to and from India, Africa and the Middle East. Today the old shipping culture has been taken over by tours and cruise vessels which take in old and new landmarks. 		Jumeirah Archaeological Site One of the most important archaeological sites in the UAE, pieces have been found dating back to the 6th Century AD. The remains link it to the 3rd-6th centuries AD when the Persian Sassanid Empire dominated and the Umayyad Dynasty in the 7th century, when Islam arrived in the Gulf. If a bit of history is what your looking for, you've found it. This excursion is definitely for all the historians within your group wanting to explore the Dubai's past times.
		Wild Wadi Water Park Based around the legend of Arabian adventurer Juha and his friend Sinbad, the water park features exciting rides for all ages. One of the most popular attractions is Jumeirah Sceirah, a cascading 33 metre slide where riders can reach speeds of up to 80km an hour. Feel the need for speed?
		Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House The grandfather of the present ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Saeed's house has been restored as a museum. 		Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall and Burjaman Hailed as ‘the shopping capital of the Middle East’, retail therapy is something of a national past time in Dubai and one of the major attractions for visitors. The city is home to a mixture of glitzy state-of-the-art malls offering an array of international brands and traditional souqs (markets) where bargaining is the key to the lowest price.
