The itinerary below offers YOU the best of both worlds as YOU explore two of the USA’s most exciting and vibrant cities. Both are a haven for sports fans with strong professional and local sporting outfits in numerous sports, particularly in football and rugby.

On your rest days, you will never get bored in either of these cities. Choose from surfing in San Diego to a drive down Hollywood Boulevard in the “City of Angels”,  Los Angeles.

California is famous for its laid back lifestyle, no more than in the city of San Diego. So kick back during the day and explore the local beaches, such as Mission Beach, Venice Beach and  Huntington Bay. Or feed your curiosity at the world famous San Diego Zoo where you can catch anything from a Polar Bear to a King Cobra all year round.

Los Angeles offers a fast paced atmosphere and is home to the American film, television and music industry. You can’t turn a corner in Hollywood without being drenched in the heritage of American film. This creates a unique atmosphere and buzz, unlike any other city in the world. On the other hand L.A is sports mad with football, baseball and American football at the heart of the city. David Beckham and the LA Galaxy call the city home, as well as the LA Dodgers and LA Angels Baseball teams, and the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins NCAA American Football teams.

This action packed itinerary is sure to fulfil all your sports tour needs, as well as providing you with a serious tan to show off when you get back home!

Pack the shades and head to the airport where your sports tour to California will begin. Touch-down in the Californian sunshine and catch your transfer from the airport to your accommodation.
Day two is an early start with a training session, to dust the cobwebs off from the previous day’s travelling. In the afternoon why not head down to Venice and flex your guns with America’s finest on Muscle Beach, or follow in the footsteps of many film stars and take a stroll down Hollywood Boulevard. Then wind down in the evening by enjoying America’s favourite past time, at Dodger Stadium, home of the LA Dodgers baseball team.
San Diego and Los Angeles Itinerary   DAY THREE
Game Day! Your sports tour begins as you sink your teeth into a fixture against extremely competitive local opposition. Then, post-win; enjoy some local cuisine as you enjoy post match hospitality with the host team. 
Heal your war wounds from the previous day’s fixture and use this free day to visit one of the local tourist attractions. Fancy a bit of adrenaline pumping , heart racing action? Then visit the world renound Six Flags Magic Mountain Theme Park. Or re-live some of your favourite movie moments at the Universal Studios attraction, where you can swim with Jaws or get caught in a fight between T-Rex and King Kong! 
Game Day, Part 2! Hopefully today you get to go “2 and 0”, as our American friends would say, as you lock horns once more in a fixture against competitive local opposition. After the game, you will have the opportunity to sit down and share stories with the local team.
Experience some of the local sporting action, with numerous teams from Los Angeles and San Diego being represented in the big professional leagues. In the winter months you can catch David Beckham and the LA Galaxy in the MLS or the NFL’s “Boys of fall” at Qualcomm Stadium, home of the San Diego Chargers. If you are touring during the summer months, then head down to the ball park and catch the San Diego Padres, LA Angels or the LA Dodgers play some Major League Baseball.
Game Day, Part 3! Get yourself prepared for the final fixture of the tour, this is a must win so you can leave the “States” on a high, and make it a successful sports tour. As well as being able to gloat over drinks and food after the match with the host team.
Head down to Mexico and visit one of their many colourful tourist towns such as Tijuana. With a round trip to Mexico being less than 2 hours by car you can pop down, take in the local scenery, and be back in time to catch the sunset at Mission Bay. 
Walk the “Walk of Fame” in downtown Los Angeles and find your favourite celebrity’s star to have a picture next to.


Before you head home; it’s time to pick up some souvenirs from the local mall. So take the day to peruse around the shops and make sure you pick up the perfect gift, for yourself or a loved one. Then at night head to LAX airport, were you will depart for the UK.
