Sample Sydney, Auckland and Rotorua Itinerary

'The Best of Both Worlds' sports tour allows you to take in the beautiful scenery of both Australia and New Zealand. What more could you ask for?  Sydney is quite rightly at the top of most travelers’ ‘to visit’ lists. Sydney boasts a stunning harbour, iconic landmarks such as the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, more than 50 beaches, including the world famous Bondi and breathtaking sunlit scenes at almost every turn. Built in the middle of the Taupo Volcanic Zone, Rotorua marvels water vents and hot springs emerging from the landscape. Unsurprisingly, many of the town’s attractions are based around these natural phenomena as visitors flock to witness bubbling mud pools and exploding geysers. Auckland brings you the sights of the Harbour Bridge and the natural beauty of over 40 extinct volcanoes. This sports tour has everything from brilliant sport to natural spectacles; there will never be a dull moment on this sports tour.

The Itinerary below takes in some of the best destinations and features that Australia and New Zealand have to offer.

Your sports tour to Australia and New Zealand kicks off as you head to the airport to catch your flight from Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur with your straw hat and sunglasses in hand.
Depart from Kuala Lumpur and arrive in Sydney at approximately 9pm local time and get acquainted with your surroundings.
Head down to the world famous Bondi Beach and make a fool of yourself as you try and ‘hang 10’ with the locals in the Bondi surf. In the evening you have the option of engaging in a training session to prepare you for your upcoming matches.
San Diego and Los Angeles Itinerary   DAY FOUR
It’s game day! As long as half your team did not injure themselves surfing the day before you will have the chance to replicate the England cricket teams dominance over the Aussies in your fixture against local opposition. Post-match you will don the straw hat and sun glasses for an Aussie style BBQ, where one person will say “throw another shrimp on the barby” way too much.
San Diego and Los Angeles Itinerary   DAY FIVE
Victorious from the game before you will leave Sydney for the home of the ‘Kiwis’, New Zealand. This notes the start of your sports tour to New Zealand. Touchdown in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, and get settled into your new accommodation.
San Diego and Los Angeles Itinerary   DAY SIX
Time for your first taste of New Zealand sport, as you take on a local team from the Kiwi nation. After your sporting fixture you will enjoy some post-match hospitality where you can share stories about how your nation is better than Australia in your respective sport.
San Diego and Los Angeles Itinerary   DAY SEVEN
Why not head to the Sky Tower one of Auckland's biggest attractions or do you fancy something more exhilarating? Then climb the Auckland Harbour Bridge, this is a view not to be missed. Neither is the view on the way back down as you take the short rout via a bungee cord.
San Diego and Los Angeles Itinerary   DAY EIGHT
Head off to Rotorua a geothermal hotbed offering scenery that will look more at home in a Jurassic Park film than in the real world. Take a dip in natural hot baths or marvel at the exploding geysers.
Unfortunately it is time for your sports tour to Australia to end, as you head back to Auckland Airport. But don’t despair, maybe you were spotted by a local talent scout whilst surfing in Sydney and you will get the call to come back some day...fingers crossed!

Your sports tour to Australia and New Zealand is over. Arrive back in the UK armed with a tan, victorious smile and a slightly damaged straw hat.
